My family moved to the OBX back in 2009 from Raleigh, NC. My wife,
Lori, and I have been married over 20 years. We have two beautiful daughters and we love spending time with them because they are the coolest people we know!
Hanging out at the beach is our favorite thing to do. I am an ordained minister and serve as Area Director for FCA, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, covering seven counties in northeast North Carolina. I have a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Seminary (2002) and was ordained into ministry in Raleigh (2002). I am also a Hokie, earning a B.A. in Communication (1991) from Virginia Tech.
I also enjoy leading brides and grooms into the covenant of marriage by serving as a wedding officiant. I think it is such an important time as you start your new life together. I take the spiritual element seriously and will encourage you to build not just your marriage but your lives on the most solid foundation I know, Jesus Christ. That is why I include prayer, as well as a Bible reading, in my ceremonies. I would consider it an honor to serve you during this important, and what I think should be fun, time!
I try to make each service personal and meaningful. I understand that the most important person is you and will attempt to help make your big day as special as possible.
Congratulations!
